Shout Out For Volunteers To Meet, Greet And Judge Regeneron International Science And Engineering Fair

The secret power of North Texas non-profits is its generous philanthropists and hardworking, hands-on volunteers.

The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (aka the largest Science Fair In The World) taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is putting the “shout out” for 500 volunteers.

Society For Science’s Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair*

From Saturday, May 13, to Friday, May 19, the world’s largest come-together of pre-college STEM competition

will be presented by the Society for Science.

With more than 1,800 high schoolers from around the globe competing for more than $5M in awards, there is a need for volunteers and judges.

Volunteers are needed to help fill shifts in welcoming and assisting the visitors.

As for the judges, there are 21 categories and subcategories in need of folks with either of the following qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of six years related professional experience beyond receiving their B.A., B.S., or Master’s degree or
  • Have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent (D.O., Ed.D., D.D.S, D.V.M., etc) or
  • Is a current graduate student with more than four years of doctoral-level research experience or who is within one year of doctoral dissertation defense.
