yCPD Field Day is not for the yawning types. It’s one of the most outrageously fun events for campers as well as supporters. Benefiting Community Partners of Dallas, it pits teams of over-the-drinking-age kids in activities like egg toss, Gatorade flip cup, noodle toss, three-legged races, wheelbarrow relay and the ever-popular booty shaker.

Hosted by CPD’s Young Professionals Group, Callie Butterworth and Claire Rexing are chairing this year’s Fifth Annual Field Day on Saturday, May 18. Once again it will be returning the grounds of The Rustic with Apex Clearing as the presenting sponsor.
Serving as Camp Counselor/emcee will be former KDFW meteorologist Jennifer Myers.

Attire will be strictly light-weight shorts, T-shirts, sneakers and plenty of sunscreen. Accessories du jour will be sunglasses and baseball caps.
Fueling the teams’ energy will be brunch bites and drinks.
Starting at $500, sponsorships are now available. On the downside, there will be a limited number of $400 teams of six and $40 spectator tickets starting Monday, April 29.
So round up your team, design a team T-shirt, start doing those booty shaking exercises and line up a cheering squad for a Saturday afternoon of fundraising to support the needs of abused and neglected children in Dallas County.
