With a Blue Norther making its way into North Texas for a surprise hit, the 2019 Mad Hatters carried on to fundraise for the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum on Thursday, April 11. From all appearance, it appeared that the predicted drop in temperatures would not be a problem for the champagne reception at A Tasteful Place.
However, guests, especially those with oversized hats, found themselves juggling flutes of champagne in one hand and anchoring their headgear with the other. Perhaps Mother Nature had heard that the 2019 theme was the Golden Age of Hollywood and decided she would set the pace with a “gone with the wind” touch.
